Welcome post

Hello All,

Welcome to Sign in Style!

Actually its very late to start writing for Sign in Style as it had started its alpha testing on February 7, 2007 and launched its beta version on March 7, 2007. But still here is the brief history of Sign in Style.

Sometime in late December 2006
- An idea struck to DIGICorp co-founders (As far as I know it was kuntal and sanket) as Abhishek wanted to change his signature but couldn't find any online service to do so
- Kuntal came up with an idea to start a similar service on our own
- We all took it very lightly at that time

31st December 2006
- Idea got solid base as Minal and Abhishek started planning for it at hospital waiting for minal's brother to get released from bed.
- Workflow, deadlines were set in the parking of hospital

1st January 2007
- Execution started

7th February 2007
- Released alpha version to be tested by near and dear ones.
- Good work PHP department :)

7th March 2007
- Beta launch

16th March 2007
- Economic Times writes a great article about www.signinstyle.com which puts site in limelight.

30th April 2007
- CNBC Awaaz cover the service in detail in the show called "Awaaz plus".
- Sign in Style gets famous overnight
- Records 500+ requests for signature in one night

1st May 2007
- Sign in Style team almost gets a nervous breakdown from such a huge response :)
- Every minute 2-3 new registration were there
- Total number of users crosses the 2000 mark
- Sign in Style earns 26$ in a day from google adsense ( Finally some money :) )

2nd May 2007
- Requests are still coming in and here I am writing this blog :)

Please take time to read my next post about CNBC episode as the story is very interesting, at least from our point of view ;)

Abhishek

first time i am writing a blog, because it is regarding "sing in style",our first service being launched which is unique.abhishek and his team including anjali as designer had done a great job implementing a 5 mintue thought into a realistic online Free service, which is not as easy it seems.

yeah regarding news on CNBC actually i got the message in the morning rather then in the night due to network problem..BSNL jindabad...actually in the morning i got a message from abhi regarding an urgent meeting which tense me..but then after my sister read delayed message received afterwards which makes me really happy that some one is there who take care of our handwork and yes right now on 2and may 18:51 hours i think we have around 1500 new request to get it done which is going to be a new challenge for sign in style team.

best of luck to "sign in style" team and keep registering....

Ok here I am. Finally trying to write something which I really hate. Yes, I am talking about "blogs" of course (I believe blogs are for jobless or workless(Its not from dictionary but was going well in context!!:) people ) but since it is related us (I mean my company) I am doing it! (You can say I am selfish). I will just give words to what Abhishek has already written.

Ok so story goes like this. One fine day a young boy was trying to change his signature (I bet he wouldn't have done it,if his lovely wife wouldn't have hammered him thousands of time to change that ugly looking carp signature!
That's the impact of marriage on a poor man's life.) Anyway, since he was an idiot (Definition of computer or software engineer by common man) he tries Google to find a website which would help him to change his signature. The boy
didn't find anything on Internet and he was frustrated.

He expressed his anger to his other idiot partners. One of the idiots, came out with a brilliant idea of having a website which would provide personal signatures to people like our young boy. What a creepy damn thought, another idiot thought. who would visit a website to have his personal signature! The idiots had a long debate on the topic for some time and they needed up as usual; with no result.

After few days, the young boy somehow convinced the other three idiots (total of four) and decided to start a web based service for providing signatures to people (oh, so now idiots will provide service to others!great.) Now, they were into it! Plans were made, website name was chosen, design was finalized, development was done, marketing strategy (which was nothing more than few crap thoughts!) was defined and they had an alpha version ready to launch!

First few days were really bad. Website got no good response. The only users who had registered, were idiots, their friends, colleagues and family members. Idiots were disappointed but they didn't loose faith. They did some on line
marketing and they got few users. This was a positive step. They did some more homework and got listed on some of the websites. A National newspaper published an article on the website and that added some more feathers to website success. Few days later, a TV channel shows website on their show. Website was in limelight. Got thousand users overnight! Idiots were shocked by
sudden overwhelming response but they were harpy also. More and more users are registering now and site is getting more publicity.

Idiots are trying hard to serve the thousands users at present but they
have also decided to go ahead. They are planning to add some more features to the website and hoping that website would be on top list on Internet (Now this sounds exaggerated but finally they are idiots you know).

With this hope, I am giving some rest to my fingers, keyboard, notepad and of course your brain!
The moral of the story is; well, you have to choose from following.

-Wife can give a success too!
-Idiots are not idiots actually!
-Never loose faith.
-Don't ask idiot to write a blog!!

(That was also written by an idiot)

So the moral is nothing! Just that, if you are looking for a good personal signature, do visit the website (www.signinstyle.com) and spread the word. You
can hope to get good service.

I won't write another blog, I promise.
